Return, Refund + Exchange Policy
We want you to be in love with your purchases from The Plaid Giraffe online store from the moment you discover it right thru to the moment you open your package. If for any reason, this is not the case, please reach out to us at email@example.com or call us at 780-439-6195.
We will gladly refund or exchange any online regular-priced items (minus original ship charges) within 14 days of ship date or for an in-store pick up 10 days from the day your order was made *(there are some conditions below).
- All returns must be unworn/unused/unwashed/unaltered from the time of purchase
- Earrings, sunglasses and sale items are all final sale
- Returns must have all original tags attached
- Returns must be accompanied by an original valid receipt
- Gift Certificates may not be redeemed for cash or refunded
- Items shipped as a gift with a gift receipt are returnable for exchange or gift certificate only
- We reserve the right to refuse a refund/exchange if the item shows signs of wear or damage.
All sale items (online and in-store) or items purchased during a promotion are a final sale.
Sorry, we cannot refund original ship charges, and the return postage fee is the responsibility of the purchaser. To exchange, the shipping fee is the responsibility of the purchaser. You may also return or exchange in-store, but the payment will be processed on the original method used, and done through our on-line system.
Did you just purchase an item at full price and then received a notification we are having a promo or sale on that item? Sometimes this happens – as sometimes we have sales on a whim. We will honour sale or promo discounts up to 4 days prior to our sale or promo start date. Just email us and we’ll make the adjustment.
Return + Exchange Process
Please email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or call us (780-439-6195) and we will advise on how to proceed with your return or exchange.
Once we have received your return or exchange we will notify you with your refund or exchange details. Refunds should appear to your account within 7-10 business days.
The best way to contact us about an online order is by email at email@example.com. We will return your email within 24 hours.
Note: We strive to keep the website’s inventory updated at all times, but item availability is not guaranteed. If an item is sold out, you will be notified via email and given the option to backorder or have the purchase refunded.

Free Jewelry Only Shipping
We ship jewelry only orders with Canada Post letter mail. This does not include tracking or insurance. Once the package has left our store, we are unable to track it. The package will take between 2 to 10 business days. Canada Post makes every effort to meet these delivery standards, but they're not guaranteed.
Free Local Doorstep Delivery on Orders Over $125
If you are in the Edmonton, Beaumont, Sherwood Park and St. Albert area just select Local Doorstep Delivery and your order will be delivered in 1 to 3 business days.
Free Curbside Pick-Up
We now offer contact free curbside pick-up when you order just click the Curbside Pick-up option. You will receive an order fulfilled email with a follow-up email to arrange a time for pick up. You can expect your order to be filled in under 3 hours during store hours and pick up to be arranged for the same day.
Where do we ship?
We ship everywhere in Canada and the United States. To our international friends outside of the U.S., please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org with any purchase / shipping inquiries.
How much is shipping?
We offer FREE Complimentary Shipping with any orders over $125 to Canada.
For Canadian orders under $125, we offer a flat rate shipping of $15.
For U.S. orders we offer a flat rate shipping of $20*.
*U.S. Customers – please be advised that you will be responsible for any customs clearance and/or duties & taxes.
Shipping rates are in Canadian dollars.
When can I expect my order to arrive?
Your order will ship within 1 to 3 business days.
If you are in Canada: Your order should arrive in 2 to 5 business days from shipment date to most AB, BC, and SK addresses. For other addresses in Canada, your order should arrive 5 to 8 business days after shipping.
If you are in the U.S. your order should arrive 4 to 8 business days from shipment date to most States. Your order will ship within 1 to 3 business day.
Once an order has shipped, we’ll send you an email with the tracking information of your parcel within 24 hours. Click on the link to take you to the carrier’s website to track the progress of your shipment.
Who do we ship with?
We currently ship via Canada Post, Canpar or Fed Ex. If you refuse any shipment from The Plaid Giraffe, you are still responsible for the original shipping costs as well as any duty, taxes and customs clearance charges. This amount will be subtracted from your refund.
We do our best to ensure that your order arrives as beautifully as we packaged it. However, in the unlikely event that your package arrives in a damaged condition, please accept and photograph the delivery and contact us at email@example.com or call us at 780-439-6195 so that we can assist you.
Redirecting an Order
Please ensure that your shipping address is correct when you place your order. Sorry but we cannot redirect orders once they have been successfully dispatched.
